The refinishing process is highly detailed, and requires professional training and equipment. We use only the highest quality products, with the goal of giving you a new bathtub surface that will look beautiful for many years to come.

No matter what type of surface we refinish, we go through the same basic steps that are usually completed within a few hours. A typical refinishing job consists of the following steps:

1. Preparation

Your existing bathtub, sink, tile or countertops will be professionally cleaned with specialized industrial cleaners that will break down the original surface, in preparation of receiving a brand new finish. All dirt, soap scum, detergents, dyes, and other contaminants will be removed. The existing plumbing fixtures and drain will be specially prepared for the refinishing process. Note: if your bathtub has been reglazed in the past, we will need to strip off the finish before applying a new coat.

Surrounding tile walls will be cleaned as well if they are to be refinished. The original caulk line on the bathtub, which is often mildewed, will be removed. Any pits, chips, or other damage to the original bathtub surface will be repaired using our specialty products designed for these surfaces.

Your room will be masked off to protect all other surfaces that are not being refinished. This will also minimizes dust, to ensure a pristine refinished surface. Our professional ventilation equipment will be set up inside the bathroom to reduce any odors from the refinishing process.

2. New Surface Application

Your new surface will be applied in a surface prep phase, a priming phase, and a topcoat phase. The products are applied by our professional spray equipment, to ensure a beautiful, durable, high gloss finish.

3. Completion

We will remove our equipment, and check the refinished surface. Cure times for the refinishing process may vary. The surface we refinished will now look as shiny and beautiful as the day it was first installed. All of the surfaces will be unmasked, and a new bathtub caulk seam may be installed at this time.

In one day, from start to finish, your bathtub, tile, sink, vanity or countertop will be transformed from an embarrassment to the centerpiece of your bathroom or kitchen, with a new, high gloss, sparkling clean beautiful finish, and you will save thousands over replacement costs.
